چکیده

In this paper, we propose a pretty-simple password-authenticated key-exchange protocol, which is proven to be secure in the standard model under the following three assumptions. (1) DDH (Decision DiffieHellman) problem is hard. (2) The entropy of the password is large enough to avoid on-line exhaustive search (but not necessarily off-line exhaustive search). (3) MAC is selectively unforgeable against partially chosen message attacks, (which is weaker than being existentially unforgeable against chosen message attacks).

Improvement on Pretty-Simple Password Authenticated Key-Exchange Protocol for Wireless Networks

This paper presents an improved method inspired by the recently proposed Pretty-Simple PAKE (Password Authenticated Key-Exchange) protocol, which is already a well-known, robust and simple password authenticated key exchange scheme. In our even more efficient scheme, only the password needs to be negotiated in advance, and the computations have also been simplified. Our scheme is based on the e...

In this paper, we propose pretty simple password-authenticated key-exchange protocol which is based on the difficulty of solving DDH problem. It has the following advantages: (1) Both y1 and y2 in our protocol are independent and thus they can be pre-computed and can be sent independently. This speeds up the protocol. (2) Clients and servers can use almost the same algorithm. This reduces the i...

Efficient Password Authenticated Key Exchange via Oblivious Transfer

We present a new framework for constructing efficient password authenticated key exchange (PAKE) protocols based on oblivious transfer (OT). Using this framework, we obtain: – an efficient and simple UC-secure PAKE protocol that is secure against adaptive corruptions without erasures. – efficient and simple PAKE protocols under the Computational DiffieHellman (CDH) assumption and the hardness o...

emph{ Smooth Projective Hash Functions } ( SPHFs ) as a specific pattern of zero knowledge proof system are fundamental tools to build many efficient cryptographic schemes and protocols. As an application of SPHFs, emph { Password - Based Authenticated Key Exchange } ( PAKE ) protocol is well-studied area in the last few years. In 2009, Katz and Vaikuntanathan described the first lattice-based ...
